Entre 1984 y 1986, la ya hace tiempo desaparecida compañía juguetera Kenner lanzó al mercado, con licencia de DC COMICS, una colección de figuras de acción que incluía a sus mejores y más representativos superhéroes. Esta colección fue un rotundo éxito y aquellas figuras de Kenner se convirtieron en un referente en el campo de las figuras de acción de superhéroes, siendo hoy en día muy cotizadas en el mercado del coleccionismo. Estamos hablando de la colección Super Powers. La colección Super Powers arrancó en 1984 con una primera serie de figuras que incluyó a Superman, Green Lantern (Hal Jorda n), Flash (Barry Allen), Batman, Robin (Dick Grayson), Hawkman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Joker y el Pingüino. En 1985 salió al mercado la segunda serie, con Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Dr. Fate, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, Darkseid, Steppenwolf, Kalibak, Parademon, Desaad y Mantis. Y en 1986 la última serie de figuras, que serían El capitán Marvel, Cyborg, Golden Pharaoh, Cyclotron, Orion, Samurai, Mr. Miracle, Plastic Man, Mr. Freeze, Tyr, y una rarísima figura de Clark Kent que ni siquiera llevaba blister y que se incluía, por lo visto, en las cajas como boni
ficación, y que es muy rara hoy día.
En la argentina muchos de los citados no fueron fabricados, aunque por suerte tenia un kiosco/jugueteria a la vuelta de la casa de mi tia, donde todos los meses me compraban dos muñecos, nunca tuve las naves.
Luego hace dos o tres años termine vendiendo mi coleccion un dia que necesitaba plata y me quede con solo robin y la mujer maravilla sin un brazo.
Quien no recuerda el album de figuritas fabricado po r la gloriosa "cromy"?, si habran gastado plata en sobres mis viejos y mi tia, todos los dias decenas de paquetes, pero nunca lo pude completar.
